- Description
Once located on the northwest corner of Mequon and Cedarburg Road. First saloon in Mequon, built by Wm. Opitz in 1840. The building was sold to Paulina Hentschel in 1866 when Wm. Opitz moved to Saukville. Aug. Hodann became the owner in 1872, when he married widow Hentschel.
