This 1861 map of Columbia County, Wisconsin, shows the township and range grid, towns, sections, cities and villages, railroads, roads, property owners and rural residences, lakes and streams, prairies, timber land, marshes, post offices, schools, meeting houses, grist mills, saw mills, and blacksmith shops. Inset maps of Portage, Lodi, Poynette, Wyocena, Pardeeville, Wisconsin Village and Kilbourn City (present day Wisconsin Dells), Otsego, Cambria, Dekorra, Columbus, and Fall River, and census information for Columbia County for the year 1860 are included.
