- Description
Karen made this quilt from a McKenna Ryan quilt pattern. She liked the pattern because she lives on a farm. The quilt is made up of several scenes appliqued onto the background. She said the pattern had more than 1000 pieces with the appliques. There is a clothesline on one of the scenes that is 3D. This quilt is made from fabrics in vivid colors. At the top left, there is a scene of a farm house with the 3D clothesline and sheep grazing in a field. In the left middle, there are 2 panels, one with cows in the pasture and under that, 3 pigs. The left bottom has a tall panel with more sunflowers and a cat. On the right side, there is a tall panel with geese and sunflowers. Under that is a panel with a rooster. In the bottom right panel, there is a field with big round hay bales and a scarecrow and the farm building silhouetted against the sky. The quilt has a patterned border with some chickens appliqued at the very bottom right.
