The eight-story U-court Wayland, one of Milwaukee's largest earliest apartment buildings, built in 1913 with 70 units by masons Riesen & Wilke for architects Martin Tullgren & Sons, seen here with its original Juliet balconies and several early American automobiles parked outside. Featured in The Western Architect 1917, volume 25, page 42. The Woman's Club of Milwaukee's Athanaeum is seen at far right.
