Negative Description: Black and white image of an unidentified man showing a horse at the Richland County Fairgrounds. Stallion used as a model for painting titled ‘Stallion’ featured on p. 193, Rural Artists of Wisconsin by John Rector Barton, 1948. Painting was done by Emelia Snyder. Presumably taken by Emelia Snyder, but no notes with negative. Accession Book Description: P318 SNYDER, EMELIA Pictures of Emelia, her mother, and their home. Pictures of the horse which was her model for her prize-winning painting. 1924 RCHS graduation picture.
