An interesting cover letter from September 1964 from Jesse Morris accompanies assorted reports, maps, and pamphlets for Freedom Summer volunteers to use in public talks and fundraising when they return home. There's an excellent map of the Freedom Summer sites in Mississippi, identifying locations of freedom schools, community centers, voter registration efforts, and places where there would be continuing efforts in 1965. There's a list of Mississippi Project directors and their contact information 1964-1965; a memo to accepted applicants; the familiar "Prospectus for the Summer"; a list of materials needed by COFO after volunteers leave the state; a COFO pamphlet on Mississippi Freedom Summer; the familiar "What Is COFO?
