- Description
Frank Grun Second Hand Furniture store, North Ninth and Commercial Streets. Beginning business as Grun and Hlawacek agricultural implements around 1880 (still living in Carrollstown), Grun later opened his own business dealing in pelts, hides, iron, and furniture. His widow Margaret continued the business after his death (around 1899) with their son Philip eventually taking over.
