This picture was taken about 1908 or 1910 somewhere about that time. Wm spickard had owned the store on left end of picture – at this time Bert Eastland owned it. I had been working for Mr Spickard a short time when Bert Eastland came in the store & bot the place – quite a stoy – next Chet Davis store (an uncle of mine) – burned down – Dr Bender living in the Spickard house was burning grass around the yard and caught the store afire – The next building across the street belonged to Lunenschloss Bro.
